Mr. Giorgi Berishvili is a founding partner at BLF. His practice area mainly includes commercial law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, contract law, labour and health care law, administrative law, construction law, maritime and international transport law, investment law. Giorgi has significant experience in structuring business, contractual coverage (dealing with financial, real estate and international transactions), extensive legal advice and counselling.

At early stage of his legal career Mr. Berishvili worked as a lawyer at Tbilisi City Hall, Property Management Department and was providing legal service for municipality property sales transactions. Later on he moved to Georgian Football federation as a Legal Expert then he became a Chief Lawyer and a member of the Club Licensing Committee. He was a Project Manager at Israeli Investors Group and was involved in structuring business, as well as in legal transactions. Taking into consideration his knowledge and experience of maritime transactions, Mr. Berishvili was invited as a Legal Advisor at Transport Administration of Georgia and took part in the reformation of Georgian Maritime legislation. Prior to founding BLF Giorgi was a founding and managing partner of GLCC Law Firm.

Mr. Berishvili is a chairman of Commercial Law Commission of International Chamber of Commerce of Georgia. He is also a member of Georgian Bar Association. In addition to being a Managing Partner at BLF he is a Partner and Chief Legal Officer of Georgian-German investment company EHC LLC.

Mr. Berishvili graduated from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law. He holds LLM Degree in Commercial Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam, School of Law, Netherlands.

With his native Georgian, Giorgi speaks fluent English, Russian and German.
